Additional information can be found at www.apria.com.   The Transfill Technician will participate in all production aspects of filling high pressure medical oxygen cylinders - prefill inspections, filling, and post filling processes - in a regulated environment.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Inspect and prepare aluminum and steel cylinders. - Connect cylinders to filling manifolds. - Fill high pressure cylinders with oxygen. - Disconnect, Test, and Inspect cylinders - verifying filling requirements. - Perform post-fill processes. - Store oxygen cylinders in appropriate section of department/warehouse. - Document all worked performed according to written policy. - Maintain accurate files of all work performed.  Files contain such information as lot and batch numbers, cylinder maintenance and inspection logs, and materials required by the F.D.A. - Ensure all workstations are maintained in an efficient, clean and safe manner.  - Performs other duties as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Manages the Logistics department for the branch to optimize timely and accurate delivery of products - Promotes staff compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, where applicable, including but not limited to: providing documents for the driver qualification file and abiding by hours of service, daily log, and hazardous materials (placarding, training and shipping papers) - Promotes vehicle safety including daily vehicle inspections, reports, and routine maintenance - Manages daily and on-call Delivery employee schedules. - Completes daily route preparation - Assigns additional routes as patient and referral requests are received. May occasionally perform Delivery responsibilities when needed - Performs special projects such as researching methods to improve productivity and cut costs in the branch distribution function - May work with Corporate Purchasing on the ordering of special equipment and new products - Solves problems involving Delivery staff shortages, route changes, and loading equipment - Monitors and/or maintains close contact with Delivery staff throughout day to troubleshoot problems and facilitate the completion of routesin a timely and accurate manner - Manage the proper and efficient loading of trucks and assist with loading trucks when necessary. - Assists ith special orders and equipment - Maintains daily vehicle maintenance logs and incident reports - Maintains proper levels of stock in warehouse to ensure maximum profitability - Performs minor equipment repair and maintenance, as required, and maintains equipment documentation - Responds to inquiries from patients, referral sources, vendors and Delivery staff regarding equipment orders, patient problems and delivery-related incidents - Perform on-call duties, as needed - Manage multiple branch locations, as needed - Performs other duties as assigned   SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES - Typically supervises a team of primarily nonexempt employees - Responsible for hiring, coaching, and performance management of subordinate staff - Ensures that all direct reports and their subordinates are maintaining acceptable performance levels - Conducts Staff meetings regularly to review new business requirements

Sets up equipment and instructs patients on the basic use of equipment.  Assists patients in solving problems regarding equipment use. - Ensures staff compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements including providing documents for the driver qualification file and abiding by hours of service, daily log, hazardous materials (placarding, training and shipping papers) and vehicle inspection and maintenance regulations. - Maintains daily vehicle maintenance logs and delivery employee incident reports.  - Ensures trucks are in proper working condition.  - Ensures preventative maintenance on trucks is performed on a timely basis. - Ensures delivery employees load trucks properly within required timeframe. - Assists delivery employees with special orders and equipment.  May assist delivery employees with the loading of trucks when necessary. - Maintains accurate files containing purchase orders of equipment and medical supplies.  - Compiles data on delivery productivity, such as number of stops made and number of miles driven. - Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.
