    • Oversees the shipping, receiving and distribution of oxygen cylinders. 
    • Ensures oxygen cylinders are efficiently distributed to other branch offices within the region by organizing equipment deliveries. 
    • Ensures oxygen cylinders delivered to patients are accurately and efficiently filled. 
    • Performs quality assurance checks on all products received before stocking or distributing goods.
    • Hooks up empty oxygen cylinders to filling manifolds (bulk oxygen tank hookups). 
    • Fills high-pressure oxygen cylinders with oxygen.  Verifies filling requirements. 
    • Maintains files of work performed including lot and batch number information, cylinder maintenance and inspection logs and materials required by the F.D.A. 
    • Conducts routine and periodic inventory counts of cylinders.
    • Assigns, directs work, and coaches staff. 
    • Schedules and organizes work assignments. 
    • Ensures both group and individual productivity standards are met. 
    • Typically oversees 3 - 6 nonexempt employees.
    • Keeps informed of and complies with JCAHO, federal, state, and local requirements as they apply to warehouse functions.
    • Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.

    Minimum Required Qualifications

    • Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required. 
    • At least five years related experience is required.
    • Incumbent must be certified with the applicable State Board of Pharmacy to work with Oxygen, where required by law.
    • Must meet job-related requirements to comply with, F.D.A. and JCAHO regulations
