    The Implementation Specialist is responsible for implementation, configuration, training, and re-engineering of hospital operations to support the successful adoption of e-prescribe software. In partnership with team members and in line with the project plan, the Implementation Specialist will interact directly with the prescribers and hospital office staff to design, configure, test, train, implement and support the use of the e-prescribe software.




    • Interact directly with physicians, physician’s office staff, hospital staff and DME supplier staff to successfully configure, test, train and implement e-prescribe software.
    • Configure DMEhub in the most efficient manner possible based on healthcare provider and DME supplier requirements.
    • Document implementation decisions and configuration approach.
    • Perform and direct healthcare provider or DME supplier UAT and integration testing.
    • Create, utilize and implement customized training curriculum to effectively train and instruct healthcare providers and DME suppliers in the use and features of DMEhub.
    • Become a subject matter expert in the functionality of e-prescribe software and its interoperability with healthcare provider EMRs and DME supplier administrative systems.
    • Analyze existing process operations for healthcare providers and DME suppliers to determine how best to insert DMEhub into those existing processes.
    • Serve as main point of contact and application subject matter expert for the healthcare providers and DME suppliers during and post-implementation including either remote or onsite support.
    • Prepare recommendations and/or alternatives that address existing or potential areas of improvement for e-prescribe software based on launch observations and user feedback.
    • Document issues brought up by healthcare providers and DME suppliers through help desk and support email channels.
    • Correctly status and prioritize issues.
    • Resolve issues directly and remotely utilizing training, documentation and web videos.
    • Provide updates to project manager for all assigned tasks.

    Minimum Required Qualifications



    Education and/or Experience

    • High school diploma required.
    • 3+ years of professional experience in a healthcare environment, preferable in a setting where either DME is heavily ordered or working for a DME supplier.
    • 3+ years of professional experience creating training plans and providing training for adult learners.
    • 2+ years of experience supporting and implementing healthcare software.
    • Strong experience building training curriculum.
    • Experience with issue tracking and issue resolution.

    • N/A




    Computer Skills

    • Computer savvy with: MS Excel, MS Office and MS Project required.

    Language Skills

    • English (reading, writing, verbal)


    Mathematical Skills

    • College level mathematical proficiency, with a strong ability to understand, interpret and develop spreadsheet data.


    Other Skills

    • Experience with EHR implementations a plus.

    Education and/or Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
