    The Vice President, Inventory Management (VP, IM) will be responsible for establishing, leading, optimizing, and controlling the company’s assets (rental and consumable), fostering relationships internally and externally, and providing strategic leadership in managing the firm’s assets. The VP, IM will be responsible for the development and implementation of best practices/processes while managing a P&L/budget for the Supply Chain team.




    • Partner with departmental heads to form a cross-functional Senior Team to help manage and grow the business and institute sound inventory management practices
    • Optimize the operations department by identifying best practices and implementing initiatives and strategies to inventory control, improve service delivery, facilitate communication, and increase profitability
    • Build the company's market position with a commitment to operating efficiency, leading edge service offerings, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction
    • Develop an operating culture which is accountable, collaborative and innovative with a focus on market-driven growth and bottom-line performance. Monitor business units for progress versus KPIs, customer satisfaction, budget, and added value to each partner
    • Develop and lead an organization of operations professionals focused on optimizing inventory investment to consistently meet customer expectations. This will include the roles of demand planning, replenishment management, and inventory controls
    • Manage the inventory buy plan optimizing the spend to minimize cash requirements
    • Provide a visible, decisive leadership presence giving confidence to employees, customers and investors that the company is positioned for growth, market performance and sustainable results
    • Play a direct role in developing and maintaining key customer and partner relationships. Engage and grow in all partner relationships through personal interaction, reporting, value add ideas, and time commitment
    • Other duties as assigned



    • This position manages all management of the department and is responsible for the performance management, hiring, and discipline of management within the department.

    Minimum Required Qualifications



    Education and/or Experience

    • A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university is required.
    • Prior use of demand planning solution and inventory management is a must.

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations

    • N/A



    • Strong analytical skills
    • Hands-on experience in process improvement and project management
    • Proven financial acumen including P&L management and budgeting
    • Demonstrated ability to think strategically
    • High level of integrity and strong customer service approach
    • Possesses a broad level of knowledge and experience with inventory planning execution systems including demand planning, supply chaining, replenishment planning
    • Possesses a broad understanding of supply chain execution systems including WMS, POS, Data collection (i.e. Bar Codes, RF, etc.)
    • Has a deep knowledge of managing large, complex multi-site warehouse network in multiple geographies within the United States
    • Will be an advocate for effective safety and security practices and use company equipment and materials in a safe manner
    • Able to travel to all company locations as required, often on short notice
    • Will represent the company in industry related trade groups, when required
    • Experienced in negotiating letters of intent (LOI) and Third-Party services as required

     Computer Skills

    • Strong proficiency of computer skills particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM including strong presentation and modeling skills

    Language Skills

    • English (reading, writing, verbal)

     Mathematical Skills

    • College level mathematical proficiency, with a strong ability to understand, interpret and develop spreadsheet data.

    Education and/or Experience

    • A Master’s degree in Business Administration or technical discipline, while not required, will further differentiate the ideal candidate.
