    JOB SUMMARY

    This position is responsible for delivery and management of leadership development programs and training strategies, with some focus on design, evaluation, inspection and analysis.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Delivers and assists the development and creation of curriculum for key leadership positions in accordance with company standards.
    • Responsible for the overall scheduling for training events, which may include delivering content (virtually or in-person), or scheduling subject matter experts (SMEs).
    • Ensures proper planning, coordination, communication and follow-up is conducted across multiple leadership areas.
    • Partners with management and HR leaders to develop, pilot and implement learning opportunities.
    • Reviews existing training to determine appropriateness for the learning population.
    • Demonstrates excellent facilitation techniques and uses consensus building to manage people and information gathering.
    • Develops structure for training leadership regarding training requirements, communication processes, compliance and results tracking.
    • Gathers feedback from stakeholders to ensure program content is fresh, relevant, impactful and continuously improving, and recommends strategies for improvement.
    • Communicates and reports progress and successes to key stakeholders and participants.
    • Ensures ongoing monitoring and assessment of current and future training needs of assigned learning population. Inspects post-training implementation, reinforcement of skills, and key performance metrics
    • Maintains and builds positive working relationships within the department and with other departments in the company.
    •  Performs other duties as required.

    Minimum Required Qualifications

    MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

     

    Education and/or Experience

    • Four-year college degree
    • At least two years of management experience required.
    • (If internal applicant) Operational expertise in the area they support.

     Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations

    • N/A

     SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

    • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, proven coaching, mentoring, and people management skills.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels within the organization.

    • Excellent project management, problem solving and measurement/analysis capabilities.

    • Works independently with minimal supervision.

    • Demonstrated success in team support, business process support, change management, influence and innovation is required.

    Computer Skills

    • Computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.

    Language Skills

    • English (reading, writing, verbal)

     Mathematical Skills

    • Basic math skills

     

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear. The employee uses computer and telephone equipment. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision. Must be able to travel by plane and automobile (if applicable).

     

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee rarely is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
