    The Manager Logistics owns the relationship between corporate purchasing, supply chain and logistics (branch, market leaders) and the operational support teams (market leaders and market operations support) and acts as the primary conduit between these teams. They are responsible for maintaining and updating the “Apria Way” standard operations and the oversight of the execution of branch logistics, as it relates to branch distribution, branch delivery, route compliance, asset return, billing and regulatory compliance. In addition, this role addresses Key Performance Indicator metrics as defined by Executive Management



    • Represents the logistics/supply chain/procurement organization with the market leaders and market support teams and coordinates with these teams to ensure exemplary support
    • Implements “Apria Way” standard operations/P&P across assigned Market(s)- Zone(s) and monitors branch compliance
    • Partners with market leaders and market support teams to resolve operational issues around branch distribution and logistics performance
    • Partners with market leaders and market support teams to focus on improving KPI metrics and improving targeted financial goals for their area of coverage
    • Tests branch logistics systems and system enhancements (performs User Acceptance Training) and ensures field implementation is executed successfully
    • Identifies business problems associated to branch logistics, recommends solutions, and then works closely with various support teams and branches to implement standard solutions
    • Supports the market teams for continuous performance improvements at the branches to meet business operational needs
    • Develops and standardizes optimal methodologies for the distribution of company products.
    • Ensure project deadline and performance standards are established and met.
    • Oversees the design and administration of Apria's large liquid oxygen vessels and fill stations.
    • Establishes warehouse "best practices" design and layout.
    • Responsible for hiring, coaching, performance appraisal and disciplining of subordinate staff.
    • Serves as a resource for the Information Services department in the development and implementation of an automated system that includes shipping and receiving, inventory tracking/utilization, routing and distribution paperwork.
    • Other duties as assigned



    • This position may manage subordinate employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management, hiring, and discipline of management within the department.

    Minimum Required Qualifications



    Education and/or Experience

    • Education or experience equivalent to a four-year college degree is required.
    • At least eight years of related experience is required.
    • Extensive working knowledge of all Apria Business Systems
