    The Reasonable Accommodation Manager is responsible for administering the Company’s reasonable accommodation process in a manner that strikes the appropriate balance between providing leave and accommodations to employees whenever possible and sustaining the level of business continuity necessary for the Company to continue improving the quality of life for our patients at home.



    • Manage employee/applicant requests for reasonable accommodation in a manner that achieves optimal employee productivity and experience as well as compliance with applicable policies and legal requirements. Coordinate efforts with Analysts responsible for leave administration, Workers’ Compensation, and Safety, applying a holistic approach to disability and leave management.
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration among employees and management to arrive at effective and creative solutions that will support safe and productive assignments, while still meeting business needs and requirements.
    • Regularly communicate updates to employees and management, verbally and in writing, to ensure understanding, cooperation, and compliance with the process and accommodations provided.
    • Critically assess and adjust accommodations based on changing needs.
    • Provide consultation, coaching, and problem-solving assistance to employees, managers, and the Human Resources Employee Relations team regarding accommodations and returning employees to work.
    • Evaluate and make recommendations for efficiencies and improvements in program design, process flow, and communications.
    • Document and maintain case records, notes, and appropriate metrics relating to requests and accommodations provided.
    • Assist with establishing goals, metrics, and success indicators for the leave and disability program.
    • Regular and reliable, consistent attendance.
    • Performs other duties as required.


    • May either directly or indirectly supervise Analysts with responsibilities relating to leaves and accommodations.

    Minimum Required Qualifications


    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
    • Five + years of relevant experience in managing leave and disability-related issues, including analyzing and resolving complex disability and leave-related issues and educating employees and management about applicable laws, policies, and processes


    • Extensive knowledge and expertise in leave and disability-related laws
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
    • Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Flexible, team-player mindset, comfortable working and openly communicating with others in an environment of continuous learning and improvement
    • Experience maintaining employee health/medical information in accordance with FMLA, ADA, and other related privacy requirements
    • Superior interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels, both internal and external
    • History of exercising sound judgment, collaborating with business partners and escalating issues when necessary
    • Adept at multi-tasking, meeting deadlines, and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment

    Computer Skills

    • Advanced Word, Office, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
    • Experience with timekeeping systems


     Language Skills

    • Proficient in English (reading, writing, verbal)

     Mathematical Skills

    • College level mathematical proficiency, with a strong ability to understand, interpret and develop spreadsheet data


    • DMEC CPDM, HCI SPHR, or SHRM-SCP certification
    • At least 1 year of practical experience supervising others
    • ADP and eTIME preferred


    This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.  It also may require occasional lifting, carrying, walking, climbing, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching above the shoulder.  Employees in this position must be physically able to efficiently perform the essential functions of the position.     Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to low noise.
