The RM Process Content Specialist manages all changes and activities with appropriate involvement from and engagement of business owners, vendor partners, quality team members, legal/compliance/regulatory departments, and other impacted stakeholders. They oversee and facilitate all aspects of process development, optimization, and/or implementation. Daily activities performed in this role contribute to Apria’s focus goals and growth strategies. 



  • Creates standard operating procedures for entire revenue cycle, company-wide: customer service; customer qualification; all reimbursement; all field operations- general managers, branch staff and supervisors, sales, clinical/RTs, logistics; service partners in all business areas; and Apria Pharmacy Network, including pharmacists.
  • Leads project value stream mapping for all revenue cycle business areas.
  • Designs and develops process and oversees implementation of process change for all revenue cycle activity for the entire organization.
  • For every new system/technology enhancement/change, deployment, process changed or created that impacts revenue cycle, reviews all existing information resources, processes, tools, etc. to determine audience impact and what content needs to be included in training and minimum skills and knowledge questions.
  • Conveys new process/process change impacts to Training (i.e., “train the trainer”) and assisting Training with creation and final review of training modules to ensure process objectives are met via end user training.
  • Responsible for project management activities related to revenue cycle.

Minimum Required Qualifications



Education and/or Experience

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • 3 years of related experience is required.
  • Experience with and understanding of entire revenue management life cycle.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations

  • Successful completion of Visio skill verification testing required.
  • Other skill verification as needed.    


  • Strong operational, problem-solving, and self-motivational skills.
  • 25% travel is required, as business needs dictate.


Computer Skills

  • Microsoft Office (including Visio and PowerPoint) and Snag-It

Language Skills

  • English (reading, writing, and verbal).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Mathematical Skills

  • Basic mathematical proficiency with the ability to interpret spreadsheet data and perform analytics.


Other Skills




Education and/or Experience

  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Prior leadership experience.



This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.  It also may require occasional lifting, carrying, walking, climbing, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching above the shoulder.  Employees in this position must be physically able to efficiently perform the essential functions of the position.
